Loop Illogic
Approximately 84 × 84 inches

This abstract work investigates the mental spiral that begins with a single question—most often starting with a “W”: why, what, when, where, who. These words can become traps, inviting the mind to loop endlessly in search of logic or control. The painting reflects how the ego clings to questioning as a way to feel safe, to organize discomfort into a narrative. But in doing so, it often pulls us away from the raw truth of feeling and the paradoxes that define being human. The jagged, wave-like forms echo the letter “W,” a visual metaphor for duality—rising and falling, certainty and surrender, control and chaos. This piece is both a meditation and a reminder: sometimes, there are no answers—and peace lives in the acceptance of that.
